Paulinka (she/her) has been working in the healthcare industry for 10 years, doing everything from personal and group training to kinesiology and rehabilitation. Her passion for travel has had her working all over the world, and what she noticed was that preventative healthcare shared a lot of similarities no matter where it was practiced worldwide.
She graduated from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2020, and was practicing acupuncture in Toronto until moving to the island this year. Her love for nature has made it a very easy transition, and she believes that living closer in tune with the elements will strengthen her practice.
Paulinka’s approach to therapy is simple: she believes the body has the innate ability to heal itself, although sometimes, there may be obstructions that prevent it from being able to do so. Through her experience, she believes acupuncture has a way of bringing the body the tools it needs to get back into its natural balance.

I’m Hailie, a Victoria born entrepreneur, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), and community builder who believes in doing business differently. Together with my mom I co-founded Compass Mobile Therapeutics, Vancouver Island’s first fully mobile massage therapy and acupuncture company. What began as a small family operation has grown into a thriving team and we were proud to be named Best New Business in Victoria (2023).
What fuels me? Connection, growth, and making healthcare more accessible. I’m passionate about helping patients and practitioners thrive, especially fellow trauma survivors navigating entrepreneurship. I believe leadership means showing up with integrity, listening deeply, and creating space where others can shine.
Right now my focus is scaling Compass and expanding care to those who need it most. I’m particularly passionate about working with First Nations and remote communities to reduce barriers and bring high quality, compassionate care directly to people where they live.
Before massage therapy I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice and Immigration Law. Wanting to serve others, I discovered that my greatest capacity to make a positive impact lies in using therapeutic massage and leading a business to guide individuals toward their full potential.
Outside of work you’ll find me hiking coastal trails, laughing too hard at late night comedy shows, tracking down the best coffee shops, or planning my next international travel adventure.
One day I hope to mentor and consult for other small business owners, particularly trauma survivor entrepreneurs, but for now I’m all in on scaling and building a healthcare company that creates real, lasting impact.
Let’s build lives and businesses that support our health, not cost us it.
